2008
« on: January 08, 2008, 07:09:53 PM »
We're back

Dojo's painted, Showers are fixed, floor repaired...thanks to the University Maintenance dept.

Last night we "motored"..probably did more "REAL" karate than other clubs do in a year.

I counted that I myself had 19 fights not counting the demo ones.(I also fought "BIG" John three times !!!)
We also did a Takushoku standard lesson.

Gearing up for 2008..... Change up a gear next week  ...

Cryf oedd calon hen y glas glogwyni,
Cryfach oedd ei ebill ef a'i ddur,
Chwyddodd gyfoeth gwr yr aur a'r faenol,
O'i enillion prin a'i amal gur.

ahh.....it loses a bit in the translation Liam.  Ask Moley the next time you're training - he explains it better than me.

I'm really really glad you said that because I was wondering exactly the same thing!

no, it's more an "experience" - I've not known many people able to adequately express the joy of a Takushoku lesson in words - certainly in words of more than one syllable anyway :D :D
