The Seki website has been tweaked slightly. The fist/makiware image has now been joined by a number of other images - one of which is selected at random everytime a page is accessed. This adds a little more dynamism to the site as you never quite know how any page will look.

If anyone has any images they feel might be appropriate for the site please e-mail to me. Thanks to Icy and Chris Newman (of Lightwood Consultancy) for their assistance.

Did you get those "revenge" pictures of Icy yet ?
Or have you forgiven her ?

Forgive her ? No chance.

Unfortunately Icy seems to have less photos in circulation than Carlos the Jackal at his camera shy worst. Never mind perseverence will pay in the end. Mind you I did find an early picture of me training back in the 'early days' which was a nice surprise.

Here you go Moley - this was me training back in the 80's.

I'm sure you all recognise a youthful Erylsan on the left- hasn't changed a bit has he? Though the passage of time has been less kind to me

Wow, Huw - was that the 1880's?

The Gi bottoms seem to have an unusually long central section - was that the fashion at the time? Or is there another explanation

Back then I used to go commando.

Anyway, looking through some more pictures I found this:

Wes hasn't changed a bit has he ? Is that Kawasoe Senei training with him ?

Just a quick note to say that the main Seki Ryu Zan website has now collected over 20,000 hits (page views) since it's launch in late October last year. These are just the figures for the  website - not including the forum. I'll try and see if I can find stats for the forums as well.

Because I'm a boring nurd I've just worked out the number of page views for the forum - and that came out at approximately 22,000 for the past nine months !!!!

In total then the Seki website and forum have amassed 42,000 page views in nine months.

That's rich coming from a man who held a meeting with himself - and kept minutes !!!!

Quoting from an e-mail from Lloydie
Quote from: dave
Greetings peeps,

The meeting started at 9 am with me, I read out the
apologies received from PL, MJ and MW.  I accepted these apologies and then
talked to myself for 10 minutes or so, until I realised I was making no
sense.  I then offered to myself, my resignation from the chair of the next
meeting and this was accepted by myself, with regret, but with effusive
thanks for my recent contributions.  A few minutes later Nigel and Val
joined me, just in time to rescue the last vestiges of my sanity, and we
then made an executive decision to abandon the meeting before I got any
worse.

I'm off for some more dried frog pills

Dave
