The night before the morning after
« on: June 20, 2008, 07:30:02 PM »
Had to laugh last night, who was chanting ....... "Must not get carried away, must not get carried away, must not get carried away"

Hope the latter lessons went off as smoothly and pain free as the first one.

I really enjoyed the lesson, got a good sweat on, and great practice.

Thanks to all for your comments and encouragement, greatly appreciated,  :D :D

Sooo looking forward to tommorrow, but also a little  8-[

I know what you mean. Felt ying/yang last night. Felt really crap because of my performance, but I know for my fitness I did the best I could. I had these ideas about which blocks i would use in 1 step kumite- never seen a morote uke used for chudan so thought I'd try it-when it came to it i was so kna***red it didn't work and had to revert to age uke/soto uke. Awesome lesson.

I dont know about anyone else, but my hip is in bits today, been having sharp stabbing pains in the right upper leg/hip area all day.

I'll have to O.D. on the pain killers tomorrow!

Yeah, remember your face last night Arwel, I would call it "pleasantly knackered"

No point blaming the floor, its more practice more practice. If you fancy extra practice Andy we can always pair up in our own time and tackle new moves or go over where we think our mistakes are. Starting off tommorrow around 9.30 ish, remember to bring sandwiches for lunch ita a good day until around 3.30 to 4.00pm
