Around two or three weeks ago - no idea how - I managed to bruise my right heel. The problem is it doesn't seem to get better at all. I've tried resting (a bit) but even driving long distances is painful. Training kata is seriously painful - so many turns etc involve the right heel Sad

Does anyone have any tips on how to get heel bruises healed quickly?

Bummer. Not done any cycling since it started Jim even though that uses a different part of the foot. I guess I'll just have to stick to rest and Brufen Sad

I was basing my remark on the description of the injury.......

Quote
What is Plantar Fasciitis: Plantar Fasciitis, also sometimes called a "bruised heel" or a "heel spur" is actually the inflammation of the fascia or ligaments which connect your calve and foot muscles to your heel and the ball of your foot.

...and the fact that the gentle stretches outlined would seem to exercise much the same areas as I saw that cycling would use....  Smile
