Broken Ribs

Confirmed today,
I have two broken ribs following full force punch ("on counter" !!!    :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:)

Apparently nothing can be done except take painkillers and rest  :shock: :shock:

So I'll have to take it easy on you when I get back from the Edinburgh course.

BTW - I heard a rumour that they are using the "wear a white belt if your grading" during the course sessions this year....

Yep... got an e-mail off Kenny...everyone grading must wear a "WHITE" belt throught the course. I also asked him how much dan grading cost in Edinburgh this year.(To make sure the right amount is inserted in licence book)..got a typically crystal clear K.T. answer...

Managed O.K. (ish) in the first lesson last Thursday..(revenge & adrenalin) but couldn't finish training in the Third lesson too painful... (However that was without painkillers...saving my cocodomol till tomorrow and will gradually build up levels for Friday night.)
Like Eryl says the biggest problem is
"The Jocks... you know how they like to slam in to the ribs on counters"

....just thought it might be a nice little motivational aid to help keep folk training hard when they get a bit tired Moley  :D

...you could always just tape a notice on saying "Please do not Hit HERE because I have Cracked Ribs and It would Be VERY VERY PAINFULL - Your Kind Consideration Much Appreciated" - I'm sure that would work  :lol:
