Jim ,
This is just show biz and has nothing to do with traditional karate.Fewer examples can be further removed from what real karate is all about. At least ballet dancers ACTUALLY do execute ballet ! This guy is wearing a gi masquerading as a karateka !
The sad thing is that those un-educated onlookers might think that this IS Karate...Oh dear !

...when this is commented on YouTube for example some say "don't confuse Traditional with Classical" - ROFLMAO  Laughing

This would be good to do before a footy or rugby game  Razz

Might get more than coins thrown though.

Thanks Jimmy, couldn't remember the name of it, and CBA to wiki it.

Kiai step, kiai block, kiai grin, kiai, punch, kiai duck, kiai, stretch................blah blah blah.

Must have taken time to learn, I assume it was to a script, and flexibility was good I think IMO but what was it intended to demonstrate?

Oh, each to their own I guess.

Ha ha!  This was funny! The sad thing is that this guy, I think, could actually be doing a kata quite well, bordering on excellent.. if he just learnt a kata with some meaning.. and stopped being so silly!
