On the plus side:

The insurance said they would provide me with a courtesy car whilst the Mazda is in intensive care.  What sort of car?  asks I;  Oh a group A vehicle says they;  Great  :roll:  A Corsa or some such POC  :evil:

They delivered it tonight....2 litre turbo diesel Mondeo - not as good as the Mazda but hey \:D/

gonna thrash the b%locks off it  :D

eh i was looking today i really like the mazda 2 sports, i can almost afford it!!!

a) Not sure - looks like major surgery to me, few weeks I guess

i am going to get it until i graduated, im not going to sell my bravo because what i heard in the radio the other day about a car that is older then 10 years get somehting gets £200 off a brand new car...

the insurance group is only 5, same as my bravo, its nippy but isnt fast so i could be sensible, and its cheap

As Dave said it's £2000 not £200 - but to be honest if you buy a year old car you'll save a lot more than two grand.

I agree Huw - get a 1 or 2 year old car - some are giving 5 year warranty now anyway - plus in actual fact the likelihood is that the Government has actually just told car manufacturers that they need to up their prices by £1000....  :(
