Well said Moley

Living a life is like building a house - you can either build yourself a shabby little hut or a glorious mansion. Either way, you must be both the architect and the builder all in one.

I walked in on Lloydie and Mad Frankie in the changing room.

Mad Frankie seemed ok as he left the Dojo but I couldnt believe how much blood came from the lower lip.  :P

His Gi and what seemed like a full toilet roll had been soaked in blood. Eeeek

Anyway Get well soon The Mad One. Get him back next time

hello,hello,hello

it would seem that these ASSAULTSoccur when i'm not around...........

if this behaviour continues i'll have to resort to baton, cuffs, pepper spray and maybe the dreaded tazar...........and if all else fails....baton gun then.....a few rounds from an MP5.......

BUT THEN THERE IS A DEFENCE HERE...........WE ALL CONSENT TO BE ASSAULTED BY TAKING PART..........

NO CASE TO ANSWER M'LUD!!!!!

I was merely using Hefin's description of your soup (cue the next set of stitches for poor Hef)

I am pretty sure that "Uncle Hef" sneezed over me as I was tending his wounds, and I have now come down with a cracking cold.  Sounds to me like a variation on one of those "Delayed Death Touch" thingies, beloved of the Chop Soky flicks in the '70s - " you hit me now - I kill you slowly later"

Quote from: Moley
Sweep followed by a punch obviously a score. But if a fighter slips and the opponent cannot take advantage; to maximise this advantage after Yame has been called, the one who slipped has to start fighting again right on the line. If he goes over then Jogai Ikkai.

Back on thread as to what constitutes "An Ippon"

Now that we've gone "Totally Overboard" on "Looking for the Ippon". Are any of you clearer as to
a)What constitutes Ippon.
b)What should be done.
c)How training should change to emphasise this point.

BTW. Some of you have been lent the Stan Schmidt DVD on "The Winning Blow"
What do you think of it ?
Any comments.
