Sparring techniques
« on: September 27, 2003, 08:04:16 PM »
I find that when sparring hand techniques do me a lot more favours than high kicks but a well executed side kick can smash through the opponents guard and land on target.  Sweeps are also very efective but everyone I've come in contact with seems to use ashi bari, no-one seems to use a Bruce Lee style kung fu spinning sweep which looks very effective

What kumite techniques do you find useful? Do you agree or disagree with what I've said?

Don't you think we need more room?
What do you suggest ?
That island, on the beach....we can take this boat !
Cryf oedd calon hen y glas glogwyni,
Cryfach oedd ei ebill ef a'i ddur,
Chwyddodd gyfoeth gwr yr aur a'r faenol,
O'i enillion prin a'i amal gur.
