Nothing at all. Both approaches are necessary. The skill lies in understanding people well enough to know which is most appropriate to their development at any given time. Now the best thing about Mr Miagi is he only had one student, so it would be much easier for him to ensure that he always gave the right type of training at the right time.....which perhaps explains how Daniel San managed to get to black belt level in the duration of the school holidays? :D

Anyway guys, call me cynical, but I can't help wondering whether Gwyn's got a shabby looking fence that's in need of a bit of a spruce up for winter....

Well,Susan - he has been after a couple of small ponies for a while to clear some grassland.  I'm just waiting for the "new training" to kick in where we all appear at his house, are each issued with a long scythe and are then directed to practice uchi uke and soto uke until we can see each other in the field

In our club, Colin & Alan sometimes lightheartedly make reference to playing 'good cop bad cop'.......unfortunately we've never been able to figure out who the good cop is :?

So - who are the good cops (miagi) and bad cops (cobra kai) in the Seki club?

Mr Miagi - Moley, Hawi, Kevin B, Eryl (on a good day).

Cobra Kai - Mole Bach, Gizmo, Eryl (on a bad day).

But in which category do we put the rest ... ?

Azzy a Cobra Kai ? Is Lloydie to old and frail even for Mr Miagi ? And where do we put Wes .........

What does Wes know about financial investment ?
When he came over on Sunday he said something along the lines of:
"Nice place you've got here Mole, want some advice on how to make your spare money work for you, hey man anytime I CAN PUT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION !"
What do I do ?

Ahh Moley, I know this one!!  This is like the puzzle about the 2 guards at the crossroads, one always answers correctly and the other one always talks b******t.  The trick is to listen to every word Wes says, noting down in particular the direction which he suggests, checking and making sure there is no doubt about the direction Wes is sending you in....then take the opposite road, preferably running as you go
