I'm getting a blue screen shut down after an active x upgrade. this has happened 3 or 4 times now. I have a laptop with the dreaded vista home. Any ideas, can I remove the updates from my programmes?

Go to control panel and select "Programs and Features" then  select "Installed Updates" on the left pane and select the update(s) you want to unistall.

Might also be worth using the Restore Points to restore to a point before the crash started.
