Race for Life 2010
« on: January 19, 2010, 03:27:44 PM »
This year's Race For Life will be held on the 9th of May @ Caernarfon.

Should we have a WTKF entry and have one person in charge of collecting all entries from the chief instructors of all the clubs and entering those individuals?

I thought it would be nice for the whole WTKF could do it together in Caernarfon this year as it would be nice to do it in the town where Dad's club was / is.

It's also a good press opportunity.

What does everyone think?

Here's the link for the event:

Shari, do you mind being in charge of the entries?

I'll be really busy that time of year with exams and studying blah blah

I was merely suggesting  :P

My auntie phoned late last night, I've only heard about it now. We've been invited to a christening on yes you guessed it 9th of May in Manchester. :( :( It's the christening of my 3rd cousin, I don't think we should have had an invite, we're not close at all but apparently they're loaded so I take it that everyone's been invited. I'm going to try and get out of it, if I pull it off  [-o< I'll register my self, if there's any room left.  :?

The more you sweat in training the less you bleed in battle,a fool says I can't, a wise man says I'll try.

Gwyn- is it too late to give the entries to you tomorrow. Ive been emailing the girls in sakura to let me know as some have not been training and should get a reply by tomorrow. If it is too late for you, I can put the entries in myself.

Hi Siw,
Sorry, just got home from a meeting and read your message.
I have already entered 23 people for the race for life. (You included).
I got the names from Sharon last night
As a special thank you this year, I am personally paying all entrance fees out of my own pocket and not from Seki.
This is in memory of all the good friends Pat and myself have lost to this terrible disease and to our friends and family who have had it and beaten it and some that are still fighting it.
