But Tom's just arrived? I shone my emergency searchlight into the night sky last night - with bat symbol replaced with maple leaf - and there he was, walking down the ramp from some brightly light "vessel". An alien craft I reckon.

It was amazing I tell you, AMAZING!!  :D

ahh!   Huw, you will find the Dried Frog pills in the drawer on your left - take two immediately.

 :D :D

I'd say that he's already taken far too much of something!
The more you sweat in training the less you bleed in battle,a fool says I can't, a wise man says I'll try.

Well, what you do to relieve travel boredom Jim, is your business of course   :D :D

I wonder if they misread their mission commands.....maybe they first looked towards Earth and saw lots of waterways (much like we did with Mars) and thought these might be significant.

Maybe the Prime Directive was "Do lots of canal probing" and someone made a typo  :D :D :D

Sounds a bit unlikely Dave - more like something from a "B Movie"  - Sands of M'Arse perhaps ?  :D

...but definitely gives a whole new explanation why people shy clear of "Root Canal" work I suppose
