human warrior
« on: February 26, 2010, 11:48:12 PM »
Some of you may have seen this on Sky.  Basically, it is an attempt to gauge (via simulation and then computer analysis) which warriors in history are the best against each other.  Tonight was the Russian Spetsnaz Vs the USA Green Berets.   It was very close in the computer analysis, but in the end the Spetsnaz just edged it.

Comments from the teams on the result: (I paraphrase slightly)

Green Berets:(furious at the result)  "It don't matter what some computer simulation said, we would kick ass"

Spetsnaz: (apparently not bothered about the result) "We respect our opponents.  We would respectfully kill them"

Spetsnaz 2 - USA 0

 :D :D :D

twas the samurai if i remember rightly - look it up on youtube and you can see a wide selection of these historical simulations there - though i am very dissapointe they nerver did the classic pirate vs ninja afaik
When the opponent expand, I contract, When he contracts, I expand, And when there is an opportunity, I do not hit--it hits all by itself.

shaolin vs maori......shaolin won :)
