Just heard that Anwen has to have an op on her wrist.
Gutsy little thing she is,(They didn't use general ) I heard that she went through a lot of pain at Y.G. only to find they hadn't done it properly. poor Anwen.
I guess I was lucky in a way when it happened to me..Richie Robinson (Bones) was there and he came with me to Cashuality (sorry Rob I meant A&E). He refused them touching my wrist unless they put me to sleep first. His very words were: "You don't attempt this sort of thing without General anaesthetic". Thanks to Richie my wrist healed.
Here's wishing her all the very best and hoping she'll be back soon as possible in training.

Anwens still in YG. She had the op Saturday.
3 broken bones. Both Radius, Ulna in the arm and a serious one in the wrist the scaphoid that needed re-breaking and pinning with a plate inside the wrist to put it in the right place. Things are still very painfull and swollen but shes on the road to recovery now atleast.

Went to see Anwen this morning. Poor kid, she's been through the Mill. Still got that Fighting spirit though, she says she can't wait to get back in training and "kickass".
That's my girl.

Was this a training related injury folks ? - just curious as we've (not me) had a broken arm last week - intercepting osae forearm block on a Mae-Geri in direct line "Ouch"  - was a preset combo defence to Mae-Geri Oi-Tsuki Gyaku-tsuki... Jim |
