Hello all I have installed ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop and for some reason the screen size is more than the laptop screen.

Strange. Not one I've heard of before. Did it set itself up like that or is this something that happened by mistake?

Can you bring it along tomorrow? The graphics driver has obviously had a hissy fit about something!

This is an 'interesting' problem Ben! Might take a few more days - IF I can make it work.

The problem is/was that the laptop has a VIA S3G graphics chip which has poor drivers in Linux. It's Windows drivers seem to have a poor reputation too, which is even more strange as the company wrote them!! Can you leave it with me until Monday so I can try and find a solution over the weekend?
