Sakura will be holding a Play Scheme over the summer holidays in the Arfon Leisure Centre Every Thursdays 10 - 12:30 Any helpers who are able to come along would be appriciated  |

Think of it more as a WTKF promotion rather than individual clubs. Can we have flyers etc on behalf of all 4 utkf clubs to give in the Caernarfon playscheme. Sakura wont have enough space if a lot of them want to join as the kids class is pretty full, so would be good to be able to offer 4 different clubs to go to. It would be a shame if they went to another association after tasting shotokan. I think flyers in these sort of events would be good to give the kids to go home.

Wednesday morning 10-11am.If anyone wants to come and help they can but if not because of work/family commitments it's not a problem, everything is under control,the kids listen to everything I say(well they did last week anyway)it's a blo*dy miracle!  |

ok- I'm crap at this computer art stuff, and this flyer could probably be much better if tweaked, if someone wants to have a go on it, but here is one I made earlier, just to get something out to the kids. Please edit it asap if you want to make changes otherwise i will send this to the printers.

I need someone to take lesson on Thursday the 12th (off to a festival) and the 19th (since I'll be on my merry way to Edinburgh)
There are 75 kids in total split into 2 groups (so you can see why helpers are needed!)
The kids are ages 8-12 years
There are some junior instructors there to help a bit but the more adults there the better
According to Lisa (play scheme orgainser) the instructors DON'T need to have PI insurance as they are covered by the scheme itself

Manon...............can I take it  ?I can't make every thursday but I could manage the 19th.When you think about it out of the people from Seki who aren't going to Edinburgh on the Thursday I'm the only person who isn't working full time and let's face it if you had to cancel,it wouldn't look good on the WTKF.75 kids is a bit more than the 25 I'm used to but I like a challenge. If you say that I can, I'll need to talk to you so I know what you've covered so far, then I can start planning my lesson asap. |

Just came back from teaching at Caernarfon.
Oh my... They are a difficult bunch.
Emma - You'll definately need loads of help (I had 8 helpers today and it was ok)
They are very hyped up on sugar, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were very naughty at school and at home.
However, there are many diamonds in the rough. Teach those who want to be taught and just keep the rest of them in line.
