Syncing sound on Open office powerpoint
« on: September 05, 2010, 04:23:39 PM »
Have loaded all my old files on to Laptop but the powerpoint files load and play but the sound files don't play automatically. Can't seem to access the command to play sound on the full Powerpoint (not pps) either.
Any ideas?

Looks like Open Office can't play sounds/music on Powerpoint:

Any suggestions?

Will it run on Ubuntu ? Remember there is no M$ whatsoever on my laptop.

Cheers Jimmy,
Will wait for the O.K. from Huw first as I don't think this P.C. will allow me to install anything without his authorisation first.

Just thinking about it if the audio files aren't embedded in the Powerpoint files then it's probably looking for them in the wrong place i.e. C:/Documents and Settings/Gwyn/My Documents/ instead of /home/gwyn/Documents/

Send me one of the Powerpoint files anyway and I'll have a look.
