Awful Situation

My sympathies extend to Lloydie and Gizmo who were left stranded by a taxi who couldn't take them and the rest of the party home. Gallantly they gave the taxi to the others and poor Lloydie and Gizmo were left waiting at the bar until the taxi could return to collect them. What else could they do but order another round of Single malt (Doubles I hear) to bide the time until the taxi returned. So brave and noble of both of you for this sacrifice. (Ba$7ards..why didn't you come to get me?)

Yes - it was an awful situation, but we steeled ourselves and got through it as best we could.

  'Cos you and Pat had gone to bed. I know Pat called us "risk-takers" but even Gizmo & I were not going to incur Pat's wrath by knocking on your hotel room door and asking "Can Moley come out to play?"
