Typing problems

Not sure if this is because Huw simply hates MS, or that it's own to a simple setting on my system or not.

When I'm typing on the forum (p!$$ take on Alex or PM etc), the typings OK to start with, however, after a couple of lines, the typing thing (looks like an I) disapears, and I have to scroll down to look for it. 

I then can not see what I've typed and have to scroll down again.  It's bloody annoying, the typing, not Alex.....well, maybe.

Any ideas, I'm using MS win7, with IE 8

Are you using Internet explorer on windows or has Huw turned you over to the dark side as well ?

Nahh, IE on win 7.  I'm sure that it's some sort of settings thing, rather than huw's vandetta against MS (although between you and me Jim, I would not be too surprised).

Not sure about IE but i Firefox F7 is supposed to sometimes resolve this issue so try hitting F7 when the cursor disappears - obviously not a fix if it works just a workaround.,...

Don't use firefox no more.  Only used it to download from youtube, now useing another programme so no need.

Logically it's not the forum - or everyone would be seeing something similar. Which kinda only leaves Internet Explorer as the 'prime suspect'. Try installing Firefox or Chrome and see if you still get the same fault.

...but please try the "F7 Workaround" to confirm it's a caret problem  8)

Tried the F7, did not work. :(

Thanks - looks like you need to try another browser then - perhaps Google Chrome if yopu didn't  get on with Firefox ?
