Hill walking
« on: November 22, 2010, 12:42:52 PM »
I love to walk, mostly hills / mountains for fantastic scenery, absolute peace and hard work.

Over the years I have had the odd regular walking partner, but usually I am out on my own, which means I take care and am not very adventurous, or off the beaten track, and I want this to change.

On to the reason for my post, I believe that there are quite a few people who love the hills, and I wondered if there was any interest in a Seki walking club, or in just getting together for regular hill / mountain walks.

I have to admit that I am overweight, and not at all fit, so will not be jogging up Snowdon for a few (many) years, but I am losing weight, and trying to increase my fitness.

Any thoughts?

Andy

Great idea! I always say I'll go mountain walking again, but I rarely get around to doing it.
If you guys post a date, time and itinerary, I can try and join you (time permitting and all).
