It could be these people increasing the traffic to the site to try and create a DDoS

I'm kinda doubtful that 4Chan etc. are particularly interested in slowing down access to the Seki site Moley :-)

Please keep on reporting problems. I haven't had any for a few days now so it may be sorted.

So it's Friday morning and it's starting to slow down again. Took 47 seconds to load front page, but went to topic quite quickly. Even then took another 20 seconds for avatars to fully load.
Is it a Weekend thing?

That took even longer.

Even when page looks fully loaded, something's still going on, the little wheel thingy (I have on Ubuntu instead of the hourglass) keeps on spinning for about 65 seconds.

And then it died .... The people who 'administer' this server (it's not a dedicated server any more) are looking into matters. They performed an 'upgrade' some two weeks ago which just happens to coincide with when the slowness began. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
