how soon someone looses edge after time off
« on: May 05, 2011, 08:40:47 PM »
i've been off due to injury for 3 weeks+, wow did I feel the struggle tonight of keeping up. the hot water going cold is so true, if your off for months I wouldn't like to imagine the struggle of coming back. Maybe moley you can explain the cold water saying to the new ones to the art?
Telling a man to go to hell and making him do it are two different propositions.

Karate is like Boiling water in a kettle on the hot fire.
Karate skill is the Boiling water, The Training Dojo is the fire.
If you take it off the fire, it becomes ordinary cold water again.
