Christmas Party 2011
« on: September 23, 2011, 07:12:56 AM »
Ok so,the Xmas party this year is at
The Bridge Inn(Tafarn y Bont)
on the 17th of December
at 7pm

I can understand that people don't want to be thinking about Xmas at the end of September, but Pubs and restaurants don't work like that. The Bridge Inn needs to know how many people are coming, what you want to eat and a £10 deposit per head ASAP.

So if you would like to come can you please put your name down on here + decide what you want to eat,and can you please please please bring £10 deposit to me as soon as you can.

If you've got any questions just send me a PM.

Thanks
Emma

Does the actual meal begin at 7pm? Or are there pre-dinner drinks?

(Our kids tend to go to bed at 7 so we're likely to be a bit late!)

...that is, assuming we have a babysitter (negotiations continue).

Or are there pre-dinner drinks?

Some of us are meeting in the Auckland in Menai Bridge for pre-dinner drinks. Everyone welcome to join us.

Do we still want a pub quiz? I haven't seen Mitch for a while but I could put together a shortish quiz if required :)

Huw,I've sort of started to make a quiz because I took it that you and Mitch weren't doing one. But,what if I send the questions I've got to you, and then you can change some of them for better ones,or you can change them all if you think they're rubbish  I think we should definitely have a quiz though.

Shame on you Emma Hughes  :x

I think we should definitely have a quiz though.

No problemo. It will be done

I guess this is meant to be 'a bit of fun' rather than a 'serious' quiz. Do you think 5 rounds of 10 questions each are enough or should we do more?
