Google Chrome and Yahoo mail problem

Ok Nerdy peeps,  Problem started yesterday with Chrome accessing my yahoo mail accounts, it would freeze and then crash.  Have done everything I can think of, including getting rid of earlier versions of shockwave, restoring PC to a point before the problem, reinstalling Chrome etc etc.  Mail is accessible via Firefox and IE.

googling the problem seems to suggest that this is not uncommon and vague stories about "they (Google Chrome are going to fix it".

any thoughts before I ditch GC?

Log off Yahoo mail

Clear history and caches etc

Access Yahoo main page via search engine  and Log in...

It will tell you that BT Yahoo does not support Google chrome   but there is a choice of "Go straight to BT classic Yahoo.. "
Choose this one

I usually have the Google Chrome "SPEED DIAL" page as my homepage. This allows access to all your regular/favourite sites instantly. It saves all passwords so goes straight to pages like BT yahoo mail without the bother of logging in. It also saves the front page of the site as for you. As you can see here

yep - it's strange, only started yesterday, and I can't see any programme that conflicts with Chrome/yahoo that wasn't there last weekend.

on the other hand IE is working great, may have to go with the Dark Side  :shock:

Might be worth downloading the lastest firefox as a backup browser. It's a very impressive browser since the latest updates.

Apparently there was some major problem with B.T. in Birmingham which affected everywhere  :roll:
