I think that Vanish Oxi Crystal white-fabric stain remover that comes in the form of a powder is good.I also use Vanish Oxi crystal white-fabric stain remover, that comes in the form of a blue liquid(but it doesn't turn your gi that colour don't worry  :D)You can get the both of them from Morissons/Tesco.

You could also try bleaching your gi,I do that once in a while. But make sure the badge is out of the water or take the badge off.

The more you sweat in training the less you bleed in battle,a fool says I can't, a wise man says I'll try.

get some Oxi powder, take your gi collar and wet it, put powder on collar, take a medium bristle brush and scrub for a good 5 minutes.  Wash on a medium temp i.e. 40 (or less) degree wash.  The discolouration is usually elements from sweat and/or use of deodorants.  If you can, avoid tumble drying, as the heat will just "bake" the stain in and make it impossible to remove.

Once stained badly it's very difficult if not impossible to remove - best to prevent it in the first place by getting your Gi into the wash as quickly as possible after training.

Well, lemon adds acidity, which can be useful in old perspiration stains, which tend to be alkaline.  Try dabbing a half lemon/half water solution bit on one part of the stain and see if it works.

:D use a mild bleach like Milton. for sterilizing baby bottles, dip the collar in it and leave for a while, do not get the badge in it, it will discolour also any  embroidery. works a treat without that strong bleach smell that will linger in the material.
Keep Smiling....
