"New martial arts"
« on: September 30, 2005, 10:51:31 PM »
Whilst flicking through Sky the other night I came accross a "new martial art"  called "SHOOTO" :o  .  It's a sort of cross between Muy Thai and wrestling apparently.

The bouts that I was watching was a WORLD Championship belt type thing 8-[ , with two of the fighters already "World Champions".

They fought for 3 two minutes rounds, with either a KO, Submission or points decission to determin the winner.
 :-k
For entertainment value it was Ok (for those who have NO martial arts experience), but personnally, I found it pretty boring and strange (although I stayed up till 1am "just in case" #-o  #-o  ](*,) ).

Any one else found anything "interesting"?

I think it used to be on some dodgy local sataelite teledu channel up here.  Not sure if it's still on.  I'll find out and tape them for you

Caernarfon  -  Gary volunteered to have a go with a couple of buxom wenches. Damaged his knee ligaments in the process. Hilarious,
