Huw
During a visit to my GP weeks ago to complain about headaches, a long - 6years back pain problem and how easily I bruise, the doctor came up with a treatment.
Forget about Karate and take up pilates to help my back and limit possability of bruising. He also wanted me to take a blood test to check my clotting and blood count.
3 days later I was asked to go back and give another sample of blood to check something??? unbeknown to me. 2weeks later when a suitable appointment was available I went in again. 4 days after my Doc. and asked me to call him back to discuss the results. He was unavailable to take my call and said he would call back after he had cleared his apointments. at 7pm he called back - 2 hours later he called back and told me that both blood test showed a high white blood cell count and the test for glandular feaver was positive.
I have been advised not to return to training for about 8 weeks and especially take care of my liver and spleen as they are inflamed and tender.
If I were to train hard then the virus could become prolonged.
Therefore I have taken a week off and will be back for 1 hour a week over the next few weeks.

I hate doctors they know nothing.
AND as for giving up Seki he can FECK OOf
