Has Karate Changed......

 :D We were talking about this today at the course.
 Kev and Dave jackson were saying things were different in their days as coloured belts. Dave said many a time as a young man of 18 or so he and his brother would come home from training with black eyes cut lips and other injuries, they were training as adults with the adults.

Has Karate come a watered down version to keep in with PC, NO BLOOD NO CONTACT NO VIOLANCE.

Shari, most contact activities have changed over the past twenty or thirty years. Football, rubgy, etc. have all had the more extreme levels of violence removed from the sport.

Remember what they used to call tackles in football in the seventies?  :shock:

And George Best had the worst of all of them. But he would get up and carry on. Without drama or playacting and get on with the game.
