I would be interested to know the opinion of our learned friends of the outcome of the forthcoming match of Grandmaster Fahy against Gizmo, Please feel free to post length of bout (not milliseconds) and the outcome.

BTW,
Forgot to point out that I'm running a book on the outcome, small bets will be taken on the outcome, odds are:-

Grandmaster Fahy to Win = 100-1F
Gizmo to Win = 5-2
Wes to turn up = Non Runner
Eryl to say it's warm = 500-1
A friend is somebody you can call to help you move, a good friend is somebody you can call to help you move a body.

Who's going to referee this match ?
Is Gizmo allowed to wear gloves ?
Will Gizmo have both hands tied behind his back to make it fair ?
Shall we tie his legs up as well ?

Dave,

It just shows experience in your reply.

I will gladly take your bet on the match

1 I believe that you are not familiar with Grandmaster Fahy's
Super Mystical Elementary Levitation Lifestopper (or S.M.E.L.L).  This I believe can render a man unconcious at twenty paces.

2 I also believe that you are unfamiliar with the Grandmaster's Dynamic Invisible Retro Technique (another show stopper).

I'm afraid that pitted against the Grandmaster's S.M.E.L.L and D.I.R.T, poor old Gizmo does not stand a chance.

PS
What is the current value of WIFE (sterling NOT Euros)?
Does WIFE come with warranty?
Does WIFE come with log-book of registered keeper?
Does WIFE know of wager?
If WIFE finds out, will you be visiting my department?

For anyone visiting Dave 'cold storage' it's just round the corner from the staff canteen (!!) - just next to the loading bay!!

I spent a lot of time there in my youth

Dave,
Who said that romance is dead :?:  :)

It intrigues me how you decide where WIFE slots in with regards to value of you possesions.

Do you decide by
Price
Value
Use
Second Hand worth

Also, how come the dishwasher is of greater value?, surely the said dishwasher does not iron???

by price(ie cost) :
1)  wife (by a long way!)
2) house,
3) car,
4) guitar, .

by value:

1) House (somewhere to garage my car and keep my cherished guitar dry)
2) car (somewhere to keep my cherished guitar dry)
3) guitar (something I can cherish)
4) wife (something that can clean & polish the above three)

by use:

Equal 1st: wife&guitar - shaped the same and...<censored>
