I'm afraid that only steam (or full thickness skin grafting) will be sufficient

You have only three more days left to vote on the outcome of the total destruction of Gizmo at the impending 'Death Match'.

I am anticipating record crowds at the Dojo on Monday.

BTW

Did I mention that Basic Life Support will be provided by Wes?

BLS incorporates mouth to mouth, I know that Wes prays that Gizmo will win so that he can administer this technique on Grandmaster Fahy

Atleast we know!

If we really want to wake him from a Coma.

We can take his Gi into the ward, but we will need to obtain some gas masks for us and the other patients. [/list]

The Guitar bid had better be good though

OK as a one time musician and proffesional sound engineer what do you play ? Acoustic ? electric ? Jazz ? Blues ? Are you a guitar collector - a range of vintage Gibsons in your living room ??

I wish!!   Nope, mate - I have (or had until my sons claimed them for their own) 1* Washburn acoustic I bought in the 80's and a very very nice sounding Yamaha acoustic that plays sweetly (unless i'm playing it  ).

As the kids have now laid claim to these I am trying to convince SWMBO that it is time to invest in a Takamine.  Not much success so far

Just go do it Dave. Damn the torpedos etc.

I spent my entire first BBC paycheck back in '87 on a Gordon Smith GS2 electric. A very fine peice of kit made from solid Honduras mahogany. I still have the guitar and I'd never part with it. I might even start playing it again someday !!

So tonight's the night!!

I am bringing the full medi-kit - is Wes bringing the VideoCam?

What I want to know is who are the two who voted against Gizmo and do they want to engage in any side bets?  eg also that Elvis will be found, driving a London double-decker bus on the moon, this year.

Well !!  What a let-down :(  :(

Did someone forget to send out the correct date of the Celebrity Death Match?

Is there going to be a re-match?

Mole Bach, as this counts as a "no-show" what happens to the bet?

Dave,

I have it on good authority that the 'death match' did not take place due to the shortage of beds at YG.

The Grandmaster Fahy felt that it would be selfish of him to contribute further to the strain on the NHS by putting poor old Gizmo into one of the much needed beds, thus denying some poor pensioner profesional care.

As for the bets, well, should you still feel the need to wager on the outcome of the impending match, then all bets will be honored by the Grandmasters prodigy, Wes.

Oi - Mole bach
I thought you would contribute to the Kata Bunkai thread instead of wasting postings on this topic !
As for the no-show, did you notice that both Fahy and Wes were absent.

As Mad Frankie says, the latest "death Match" will be between Wes and Icy.
"I was there My Lud, I heard Wes say that Icy was "Considerably bigger" when he first cast eyes on her. I can vouch for Frankie that following this idiotic comment Wes did indeed dig a deeper grave for himself that was considerably deeper and faster than even Eryl could manage with a JCB."

Tip for Icy:
Watch out for the "finga in eye" technique.

I've fallen for that one many a time.
I think your best attack would be something like
"Hey there BIG BOY, aren't you that handsome HUNK who has that famous Rock band"

Guaranteed to put him off his guard.
The counter would be something like
"Hey Babe, like  some Free tickets for my next GIG ?"
