which sword...
« on: March 15, 2006, 01:33:42 PM »
Hi everyone!...I'm thinking about getting myself a sword, and I got my eyes to two katanas.
The first on is the <cold steel imperial series 88k>, and the second one is the <hanwei shinto katana by paul chen>.
Now, I dont know which one I should get, so I ask you guys, which one do you think I should get?
I want the sword to be a practical one...

thanks in advance

What do you mean practical? For cutting targets etc. ?

BTW please tell us a little about yourself Jannlee. Are you from Norway?
The hunter that chases two rabbits catches neither one.

You mention the Cold steel and the Shinto !
The cold steel is heavier and has no Hamon, The Shinto is thinner and has a BO-Hi and Hamon,

Cryf oedd calon hen y glas glogwyni,
Cryfach oedd ei ebill ef a'i ddur,
Chwyddodd gyfoeth gwr yr aur a'r faenol,
O'i enillion prin a'i amal gur.
