Hey Susan - that is good advice to the men - but like you say, they must remember that they may get it back in the mush even harder!

So theoretically, does that mean if our men annoy us, we can smack them in the chops and say oops - I need to practice my control/distance

:) I tried to practice with Arth but he ended up black and blue.  The poor man dreads me coming home having learnt a new technique. I can't  practice with Carwyn,I may end up getting a call from the NSPCC.

ps    I have found my trusted dictionharry so I shouldn't have anymore spelling mistakes. :?  :?
Keep Smiling....

I was very impressed with the Japanese Instructors..they simple were Karate and they excuded it from every pore, if you watched them long enough it all made perfect sense and they picked up on every little thing and despite the volume of people made you feel like you were the only person in the room, which probably has a lot to do with a fresh approach, perhaps.

Me too. I thought the standard of instruction in Edinburgh this year was superb.

Naito Sensei was particularly good in my opinion. Whilst the standard of his karate is superb he kept everything at a realistic level for his audience. For example I can't remember him doing a single kick higher than chudan level, which at least gives us mere mortals a chance to learn something from his technique. Having said that Kawasoe's lessons were also very interesting with tons of stuff to (try and) absorb over the next few months.
