30% Sword (Provided sword is "REAL" and meant for cutting of course)
I found with my "cheaper end" swords, more technique and follow through was required and the cut wouldn't be as clean. The light swords ( ie my Shinto ) need more technique and follow through as well, although it does it's job neatly.
I like the "Shinto" as I can do a really fast "Nukitsuke" with it. (My favourite move )
If I was cutting a large bamboo like that in the video posted by Lloydie, I would use my "Last Legend field mark IV" a huge brute but very well balanced.
As Huw would say;
