the only adverts I've seen these last couple of weeks has been bad examples of poor driving by d*%& heads as I've been whizzing up and down the A55 (I've found that Tigra drivers are the worst).

The guitar in the original version of "Sea of Heartbreak" is totally different from Johnny Cash' version.
I think even before the famous 50's recording it was done in Banjo. What I find amazing is that Johnny Cash has changed the guitar rhythm into what even a cloth ears like me would recognise as a Johnny Cash rhythm. yet it's the same song !
How do they do that ?

Yes Moley - Johnny Cash had that uncanny nack of making a song his own. Here's some gypsy jazz, not to everyone's taste I know but the guy playing the guitar here is astonishingly good.
