AVG Antivirus re-boot
« on: May 27, 2007, 12:19:31 PM »
Hi Anoraks,
I have AVG Antivirus installed on my P.C. and Laptop as per Huw's advice.

When it updates on my Laptop whilst I'm working it just goes back to sleep and updates work fine. However on my P.C. it needs to be re-booted before the updates are complete. This is a bit of a nuisance really as it then contantly reminds me that the system needs re-booting.

Is this the AVG Version I've installed or is it something on my P.C. ?

Chwyddodd gyfoeth gwr yr aur a'r faenol,
O'i enillion prin a'i amal gur.

Check the properties for the AVG update manager component Moley and see how it's set on both systems - looks loke one might be set to restart immediately and the other to complete on next Pc reboot..... :?
