If it works don't knock it - my motto  8)

Moley - are you referring to a block/break with the initial Haiwan action or the second set with Soto Uchi with the respctive arm grab/twist etc. ?

High uchi uke on inside of incoming punch.. Use top of arm to contact

Cheers Moley - thought you might have meant high initial block (to left) with right hand - grab/twist attacking arm to set up elbow joint for the break with the uchi-uschi with the left arm - followed up by the " soto-ude-uke left hand and ura-tsuki right hand then grab arm with punching hand (right) twist and pull at same time as tetsui-uchi (or of course the "other" arm break instead.   - main advantage is that attacker is left without either arm left to pick their nose  :lol: )

We have done great Bunkai for Haian Nidan on Monday ... 8)
I love Bunkai for Heian Nidan ... very basic and at the same time you can do everything ... arm breaking, sweeping, kicks ...
Great ... ! I was sweating so much because in the end 3 opponents were fighting "against" you ...
Much tension and much fun ...
