Leather Tsuka Ito in the UK?
« on: August 01, 2007, 06:26:16 PM »
Hi,

I'm new here, so hello  :D

I'm having problems finding somewhere in the UK to buy leather or synthetic leather to re-wrap my katana.

If anyone can help, or provide any links I would be very appreciative.

Thanks,

Simon

Hi Simon,

Moley will probably be able to help you, but have you tried the sword forum?

Stay clear of Imitation leather Tsuka ito...Not very nice and it stretches and becomes loose.

Don't know about real leather Tsuka ito though, those I've seen seem wrong somehow.

Cotton tsuka ito can be obtained from Nine circles:
