Have I missed something?
It seems that our avatars on this forum carry the same idea as the jocks, where peasant is displayed beneath the little ammusing description of ourselves.  Are we using this idea to encourage postings?  Is the social class of the member increased by how many posts\topics they submit?

We have already got a thread about Book reviews, (Martial arts)
How's about starting one here about Films (Martial Arts) that have influenced your training?
I'll kick off with "Kung Fu" an excellent T.V. series in the 70's about a Shaolin Monk called Kwai Chang Caine. It was launched following a pilot episode which shows Caine being accepted into the Shaolin Monastery and his training up to the time when he snatches the pebble from the Master's hand and it's "Time for him to leave". He then gives himself the "Seki" tatoo (Sorry got a bit carried away there) He brands himself with the Shaolin marks and leaves. His adventures carry on when he is forced to flee to America and wanders the Wild west looking for his lost brother.
Now then Folks..I have a copy of that Pilot episode on Video !
Perhaps we can have a film evening ?
