I think we could all do with Jimmy posting a bit more money over then! :)

From the first page of this discussion:

I split off the "Get at Azzy" off topic discussions and sent it to the Chat ...

OK here's an alternative. Meet in the Beach Road car park in Bangor and walk up Lon Las Ogwen up to Tregarth and back. When we return we could retire to The Nelson on Beach Road for refreshment.

How did the pier manage to appear on the sponsor form? How on earth did that happen?

I think the one you need to ask is Lloydie, afterall he's the only one who actually turned up at the pier!

I had a card today from Bethan:

Dave, Could you please pass on my thanks to everyone at the karate club who helped to raise such a terrific amount of money.  Your donation enabled me to pass the minimum amount of £2500 that I needed to take part in the trek.  My current total stands over £3000, I'm hoping I will achieve a final total of over £4000, I will keep you posted.  Thank you once again for your support

Great news Dave,
Do you think you could write a quick thank you letter to my Mum ?

She wants to start collecting sponsors for "The Race for Life" now and want's to show the people who supported her last time how well we did with the Bowel Cancer fundraising.

Regards

Gwyn

Just to say that Bethan raised more than £6000 for Beating Bowel Cancer.  The entire group who trekked the Great Wall raised an incredible £124,000 for the charity.

nice to be part of it
