Farrier bought some haylage and they munched happily while he did their feet. She seems on the mend- tried to bite me. Strange things animals.

Up all night to keep an eye on her. Locked her in the shelter at 4am this morning. She seemed O.K. with it. Vet came this morning at 8am and she's a lot better. Temperature back to normal and breathing easier. He gave her another dose of antibiotics and told me to let her out to graze. I'm to keep an eye on her and bring her in if she get's listless again, but leave her alone if she's grazing happily. I think I'll take her in again when the heavy rain comes later on today. He will contact me again this afternoon and advice me on blood test results and how I can give her more antibiotic myself so that he doesn't have to come.
I had arranged for the Farrier to come today as well, we'll see what he has to say

Sorry for missing training tonight. My little Cadi is ill, she may die. She has pneumonia and pleurisy. She had antibiotics and painkiller but the vet said I should monitor her all night. Apparently its the weather..hot then cold then damp. But after the antibiotic and painkiller she's grazing again. Good sign. But I'm gonna be up all night. Vet coming again in the morning. Moley..not so tough ..... SORRY.

Thank you Lloydie...Osssu  and everyone else who cares.
